Atalanta Insist On €50M Fee For Lookman As Inter Increase Offer

Italian Serie A side Atalanta remain firm in their valuation of Nigerian forward Ademola Lookman despite increased interest from Inter Milan

According to multiple sources including Sky Sport Italia Sportitalia and transfer expert Fabrizio Romano Inter have tabled a new offer of €40m as a fixed fee with an additional €5m in performance-related bonuses

This follows an earlier bid of €40m which was outrightly rejected

The latest round of talks between both clubs was expected to yield progress but reports indicate that Atalanta are still demanding €50m either as a fixed amount or with add-ons that bring the total to that figure

Football journalist Alfredo Pedullà who has been closely monitoring the transfer since early July reaffirmed that Atalanta’s position has not changed

Sportitalia noted that Inter’s improved bid was made verbally during the meeting and a formal written offer is yet to be presented

Lookman is believed to have already agreed personal terms with Inter which further puts pressure on the Nerazzurri to finalise the deal before the transfer window closes

Whether Inter will meet Atalanta’s asking price or attempt another compromise remains to be seen as negotiations continue to intensify
