Thelma Lawson has risen to the spotlight as the interim Head of House in the ongoing 10th season of Big Brother Naija, following her win in Sunday’s HoH games.

She replaces Jason Jae who held the position briefly in what has become a dynamic and fast-paced leadership structure inside the Big Brother house.
Thelma’s victory came after the season’s second HoH game, but her new status will be tested again on Monday night in the HoH challenger game, a twist introduced this season that now forces every HoH to defend their position just 24 hours after being crowned.
Revamped HoH Format and ’10 Over 10′ Twist
This season of BBNaija tagged 10 over 10 has been loaded with surprises aimed at keeping both housemates and viewers on edge.
The show’s host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu revealed the revised format during the live premiere, stating that:
“Head of House games will now take place on Sundays, and the winner will defend their title in a challenger game every Monday”
In previous seasons, the HoH enjoyed a full week of immunity and exclusive privileges but now, the power is temporary and must be earned repeatedly.
All Eyes on Monday’s Game
With Thelma now in charge, the spotlight is on her to see if she can hold her ground or be dethroned by another contender in the Monday face-off.
This evolving system not only keeps the game unpredictable but also forces housemates to stay alert and constantly prove their worth in the battle for leadership.
