Manchester United have officially signed Cameroon international Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford for an initial £65 million, with an additional £6 million in possible add-ons.
The 25-year-old forward becomes United’s third signing of the summer, following the arrivals of Matheus Cunha and Diego Leon under manager Ruben Amorim.
“ As soon as I knew there was a chance to join Manchester United, I had to take it. This is the club of my dreams; I wore this shirt growing up,” Mbeumo said with excitement.The deal brings an end to a seven-week transfer saga, which began with United’s initial £55 million bid in early June. A second offer of £62.5 million was also rejected before their third bid sealed the deal.

Scored 70 goals and delivered 51 assists in 242 appearances for Brentford since joining in 2019.
Enjoyed a career-best season in 2024/25, scoring 20 goals and providing 7 assists in the Premier League.
