Historic appointment
The Confederation of African Football has named Antsino Twanyanyukwa of Namibia as centre referee for the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations final between Nigeria’s Super Falcons and Morocco.
She becomes the first Namibian ever to officiate a WAFCON final.
Recognised for excellence
Antsino’s calm leadership and consistent performances throughout the tournament impressed CAF’s Technical and Refereeing Committee.
Her appointment is seen as a reward for her composure in high‑pressure matches.

She will work alongside Alice Umutesi of Rwanda as Assistant Referee 1 and Tabara Mbodji of Senegal as Assistant Referee 2, forming a team of highly rated officials.
The match will also feature a strong VAR crew to ensure fair play.

The Video Assistant Referee team will be led by Salima Mukansanga of Rwanda, renowned as a trailblazer in African football officiating.
She will be supported by Letticia Viana of Eswatini as AVAR 1 and Diana Chikotesha of Zambia as AVAR 2.
