BUSINESSMAN IFESINACHI ONYEKERE ABDUCTED AND KILLED IN ANAMBRA
Nigerian social media critic and self-styled activist, Martins Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), broke down in tears on Wednesday over the murder of Ifesinachi Onyekere, a prominent businessman from Anambra State, widely known as Fish Magnet.
FACTSPHERE reports that Onyekere, son of a chieftain of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), was abducted on Saturday by armed men believed to be part of the criminal groups terrorising parts of the state.
According to eyewitness accounts, the armed men invaded his home in Ezinifite, a community in Okpuno, Awka South Local Government Area, and whisked him away to an undisclosed location.
Onyekere was later found dead on Wednesday, triggering widespread outrage and public grief across Anambra and beyond.

In an emotional video posted to his verified Facebook page, VeryDarkMan was seen visibly shaken, weeping as he lamented the worsening state of insecurity in Anambra and other regions of the country.
“The kidnapping and killings in Anambra State is too much. What is the hope of the entrepreneurs, what is the hope of those going into business in Nigeria?”, he asked.
“I will be coming to Anambra State maybe on the 4th then maybe we can do a candle light when it will not clash with the sit-at-home in the state”, he added.
